We’re super excited to announce that Black Noise modules are now available for free on VCV Rack!
Our main mission is to create unique and innovative modules that empower musicians and sound designers to express their creativity and explore new sonic territories. We want to make these tools accessible to everyone, and VCV Rack feels like the best way to achieve that goal! We’d like to thank all the talented individuals who helped us turn this goal into reality. 🙏
For this first release, we’ve focused on the highly-requested COSMOS, Slew-LFO, and the brand-new GOMA II. COSMOS was the perfect choice for this release because it’s a truly revolutionary module, but can be tricky to grasp due to its uniqueness. There’s really nothing else like it. Bringing COSMOS to VCV Rack will allow everyone to easily explore and understand the full potential of this one-of-a-kind module!
We worked really hard to make this port as faithful to the hardware as possible, which was quite a challenge! The result is a super accurate module, with additional features enabled by the software, such as polyphony and over-sampled logic outputs. And if, after all that, you’re still craving that special "analog sauce," you can always go for the hardware version! 😉
We’ve also taken the opportunity to add some new features to Slew-LFO and GOMA II, but we’ll let you discover those for yourself! We hope you enjoy this first release and that these modules help fuel your creativity and take you to new sonic territories.
